Pear Crumble

This recipe is great for apple crumble, pear crumble, rhubarb crumble, forest fruit crumble, well, any kind of crumble really. It takes literally no time at all and is really easy, plus it's great if you have a last minute dinner party and had forgotten to grab the dessert, all you need is some fruit. 'THE EASY' healthy dessert at any time of year and the best part, no added sugar, the fruit makes it sweet enough (you could also whip it up as a post workout treat).
If you wanted to make it a little richer and more Aztec'y, you could add some Lucuma and Mesquite to sweeten and boost the nutritional profile.

Yacon Cacao Nibs (Immunomodulation)
Strengthening, balancing, supporting and regulating the immune system, optimising immune response (great for winter).
Yacon Cacao Nibs (Magnesium)
An essential mineral, absorbed in the gut and is important for energy, muscle health and bone health.
Yacon Cacao Nibs (Anandamide)
Is a fatty acid neurotransmitter. The name is taken from the Sanskrit word 'ananda', which means "joy, bliss, delight".
Yacon Cacao Nibs (Theobromine)
Similar to caffeine, it is a vasodilator, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, diuretic and can act as a stimulant. Studies suggest it aids the absorption of the polyphenols in Cacao.
Lucuma
Lucuma contains β-carotene, which gives its flesh the beautiful orange colour. β-carotene is converted into Vitamin A by the body. Vitamin A is able to enhance the immune system but also supports the health of the eyes as well as teeth and cell health (skeletal / soft tissue).
Mesquite
Mesquite powder, also know as Algarrobo, is native to Peru, Ecuador and Columbia and for centuries was a staple food for ancient South American desert dwellers. Boasting 10g protein per 100g, studies* suggest it can also help balance blood sugar levels.
