"To ask less of the planet, we ask more of ourselves."
— Apple Inc.
Health is a trifecta of nutrition, movement and mind. But all are impacted by the environments we surround ourselves with, including; people, homes, workplaces and of course all the green things.
It stands to reason that we believe that being considerate of our environments is one of the most fashionable things we can do. So, from our work environment and when researching and sourcing everything from our; products, packaging, marketing, shipping materials, office supplies and even our energy provider, we take the time to investigate all the tiny details in our supply chain in an effort to be as environmentally conscious as we can from 'seed to table'. We are always seeking to improve, but below is our current status on our environmental adventure...
We believe, GREEN is definitely the new BLACK!
We don't currently have our own source of renewable energy, so we went to the best in the business, Powershop, who's parent company, Meridian Energy Australia, only generate 100% renewable energy on their hydro stations and wind farms. By providing this power to the main power grid, they help reduce; the use of fossil fuels, climate change and toxic pollution. Not only do Powershop provide 100% renewable energy, but they also offset 100% of the carbon associated with their operations, and their customers usage, making us 100% carbon neutral — Powershop are Australia’s first and only energy company to be accredited 100% carbon neutral by the Australian Government.
We strive to operate a paperless office, and when we need to make sure that your delicious items get to you looking fabulous or can't beat the tactility of pen on paper, we ensure that all of the paper, cardboard, labels, envelopes and more within the business considers its impact on the environment when we use it, and afterwards.
