At altitudes where very little else grows, the Peruvians have cultivated, grown and consumed many highly nourishing foods, from warriors eating Mesquite cakes to Ayoaska ceremonies with Chilli Cacao drinks. And although there is not a primary medicinal principle that sits surrounding these phenomenal foods, we think the Aztecs knew a thing or two.
