Kale & the DIM's

When is comes to greens, at some point or another we’ve all made the same face; furrowed brow, wrinkled nose, the corner of your top lip lifted up and your head pulled back creating 3 chins... (and of course the large sigh with rolling eyes). I'm not saying all the time, but sometimes when you'd much rather pig out on a bowl of pasta or pizza. I know I don’t always feel like greens and then other times i just can’t get enough of them - once I pop, I can’t stop. 
This is one of those times — and with some curious benefits. I mean, we all know how nutritious greens are, their wealth of nutrients and disease fighting armies, but this time it was quantifiable.

Let's also take a moment to note that Kale is not a miracle cure, we know that food (especially not a single kind of food) is not the only factor in good health, it's a fine balance of nutrition, fewer stressors mentally, exercise and all the wonderful things in-between. It's a balancing act, it's life, and it's wonderful. But if our friend Kale with his family of awesome along with all the other good things in out nutritional arsenal can help - i'm catching that train!
